Scholarships
The Vietnam Veterans of America - Chapter 510 in Northern New Jersey, is part
of the Vietnam Veterans of America
(VVA),
the largest United States Congressionally Chartered National Service Organization,
exclusively devoted to Vietnam and Vietnam Era Veterans.
Annually we award Scholarships to individuals who have applied successfully by
completing our application, have had their references verified, and whose required
essays have been read and graded by our Scholarship Committee members.
The award winners are presented with checks at one of our General Meetings, during which the winners tell the Chapter Members a little about themselves and
what their school and career goals are.
The presentations are followed by a catered light dinner during which winners and their families can meet and talk with Chapter members.
